The client needed to expand an online survey tool into a COVID-19 screening platform for clinics, especially those serving elderly patients. The system had to assess individual risk, generate personalized recommendations, and allow healthcare organizations to create and customize their own questionnaires and response logic.
Challenge
The project required a full DevOps restructuring during active development, which meant rebuilding deployment processes without interrupting ongoing work. We also had to automate synchronization between a shared central database and separate clinic-level databases. Data flow had to be consistent across multiple healthcare organizations without manual intervention.
Our solutions
We moved the project to a new AWS infrastructure and rebuilt deployment processes to stabilize releases. In parallel, we automated data sync between the central database and individual clinics, so information stayed consistent without manual updates. Our team also upgraded the admin panel with statistics, question templates, risk scoring, and automatic generation of personalized recommendations based on survey responses.

Admin Panel & Multi-Clinic Management
A new (redesigned) admin panel gives healthcare organizations full control over surveys, users, and data. The system supports multiple clinics within one platform. So, each organization can manage patient groups and operate independently, but use shared infrastructure.
Survey Templates & Customization
We introduced reusable question templates and configurable survey attributes. Clinics can create their own questionnaires, adjust logic, and tailor response flows to match internal protocols without changing the underlying system.
Risk Assessment Engine
Our team integrated a third-party mathematical model to calculate a patient’s likelihood of being affected by COVID-19 in specific regions. Based on survey responses and regional data, the system evaluates risk levels automatically and presents structured results.
Automated Recommendations & Analytics
The platform generates personalized recommendations based on each patient’s answers and calculated risk score. We also added statistics processing inside the admin panel, so healthcare providers can monitor trends, review aggregated responses, and make data-driven decisions.
