Request
We needed a time tracking system that would reflect our real workflow: tracking hours by project and task, separating billable and non-billable time, and generating clear reports for clients and management. Existing tools didn’t support the level of flexibility and simplicity we required. That’s why Yojji made the decision to build a custom solution tailored to our internal processes.
Challenge
The app had to be obvious from the first click, so new team members wouldn’t need training. At the same time, it had to handle reporting, billable separation, and easy sharing of schedules with managers and clients. It didn’t have to be a complicated administrative tool.
Our solutions
Yojji employees defined our internal needs first, then built the product around them. A small team worked in two-week iterations, releasing updates regularly. The whole company tested the app and shared feedback. This allowed us to refine the UX and reporting logic in real time and create a tool that truly fits our workflow (instead of adapting the whole team to a new tool).

Employees can start and stop a timer while working on a task to capture time precisely without manual calculations. This feature reduces underreporting or overreporting of hours and gives managers accurate data for workload analysis.

Users can manually enter or correct logged hours and adjust entries as needed. This flexibility supports real-life workflows. For example, when employees finish work offline or forget to track it.

Teams log time directly to specific projects to show where they invest effort. Managers analyze project costs, allocate resources more accurately, and monitor team capacity without relying on manual reports.

Members mark each time entry as billable or non-billable to simplify financial reporting and client invoicing. This distinction allows the company to calculate project profitability accurately and see how much time the team spends on internal, non-revenue tasks.
